‘MYM app’, ‘MYM for creators APK’: the question comes up a lot. We checked what the app stores have to offer, and here’s how to use MYM on your phone without taking any risks.

MYM works in your browser: mym.fans for fans, creators.mym.fans for creators.
MYM’s terms and conditions describe the platform as available at mym.fans or through the corresponding mobile apps. They also state that the equipment, whether a phone, a computer or a tablet, is the user’s responsibility.
In other words, MYM does plan for mobile use. But when we checked, we found no official app available to download from the app stores.
The simplest option is to open MYM in your phone’s browser. To get back to it in one tap, most mobile browsers let you add a shortcut to a website on your home screen.
Your phone also comes in handy when you sign up as a creator: ID verification asks for a selfie of you holding your identity document, and your number is confirmed through two-factor authentication. Some third-party websites still offer APK files presented as the ‘MYM for creators’ app. Installing an app from outside an official store means running the risk of a modified version, one that could, for example, harvest your login details.
And under MYM’s terms, anything done from your account is presumed to have been done by you. Until an official app is available in the stores, your browser remains the safe option.
