On MYM, the creator decides the price of the subscription. You can offer a monthly subscription with no minimum term, which your fans pay every month on the date they first subscribed. You can also set up a multi-month offer, paid in one go: when it ends, it carries on as a monthly subscription at the price set for that offer.
You also choose the price of content sold individually, and you’re free to set the terms of your live streams. So you can build an affordable way in and keep your most polished content for one-off sales. Both subscription options are explained on our page about how MYM works.

Your subscribers pay by card (Visa, Mastercard), by cryptocurrency, or by PayPal with some creators. MYM presents its payment methods as one of its strengths, ‘the best payment methods for your fans’ in its own words, and says you can cash out your earnings faster than ever.
Every payment goes through an authorised payment service provider, which collects the money your fans pay on your behalf.
MYM is run by AIR MEDIAS, a company based in Paris. Its team says it offers support seven days a week, with a human reply within 24 hours, as well as an online help centre. Its website for creators is also available in English.
MYM claims more than 20 million users and an algorithm designed to put your content in front of the people who’ll love it. According to MYM, it can be surfaced in the feed and the Discover tab without you spending a penny on advertising. The news feed also shows fans personalised suggestions alongside the creators they subscribe to. The platform says it has already paid out more than €500 million to its creators.
Creators who reach Superstar status go further: they get a lower commission, a badge on their profile, a featured place in the search engine and some extra payment methods. The criteria are published in MYM’s help centre.
MYM’s terms forbid users from asking for your personal contact details, whether that’s a phone number, an email address, a postal address or your location. Any request for payment outside the platform can get the offending account closed.
The platform also moderates content and conversations, and checks the age of every creator. You post under the username of your choice: your identity document is used for verification, not for your profile.
You can use artificial intelligence tools to create, edit or enhance your content, as long as you label it clearly, for example with the hashtags #AI and #AIgenerated, or the words ‘image virtuelle’ (virtual image) in the description. There’s one limit: never depict a real person without their written consent, even if they’re famous.
You can also get an agency or an AI tool to handle some of the work, such as replying to messages.
MYM makes its money through a commission, worked out as a percentage of the price of each order. On its page for creators, MYM says you keep 80% of your earnings from day one, which means the platform keeps 20%. You must be 18 or over, have your age verified and declare your earnings: MYM informs you of the tax and social security obligations that apply. Finally, you guarantee that everyone who appears in your content is 18 or over and has agreed to it.
